The Rebels will seek to build upon their results versus the college football gambling probabilities in 2010.

The squad is even considering bringing in former Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli. Considering they have no one to backup starter Nathan Stanley, the Rebels may use Masoli. Mississippi went 9-4 last year and 7-6 versus the college football lines.

The Rebels would be gambling that Masoli may keep out of trouble. He could not do so at Oregon and folks wonder whether he can do the right things at Mississippi. The Rebels regretted that decision when they took a shot last year on Jamar Hornsby as they had to dismiss him from the squad after he had some difficulty again. They might not have learned anything from that situation though as they look willing to take a shot on Masoli.

Because their current backup quarterback is junior college transfer Randall Mackey who was not even at spring practice, Mississippi will have to do something.

The Rebels do have some winnable matches at the sports betting source, despite the fact that Mississippi plays in the SEC and that’s never effortless. The Rebels could find a way to 8 victories this season with an upset along the way.
