Football gambling expectation proceeds to build as the Seahawks were impressive in their preseason debut as they defeated Tennessee in their football wagering opener. Some were calling his training camp Club Carroll, he conducted such a joyful camp. After going 9-23 over the last two seasons, Carroll needs to make some big changes to how the Seahawks perform if they expect to get anywhere this year. And you’ll find lots of changes being made, especially to the squad roster. Since they played the last match of the 2009 year, something like half of the team’s players and staff has changed. And at least to date, it seems to be paying off.

Seattle’s subsequent preseason game with the NFL lines is August 21 when they host the Green Bay Packers.

Since he went 14-22 for 214 yards and 2 touchdowns, Seattle’s backup quarterback Charlie Whitehurst had a formidable performance. Whitehurst was introduced by Carroll to test long time veteran starter Matt Hasselbeck. There appears to be no quarterback controversy – yet anyway – although Hasselbeck had trouble as he went 4-10 for 26 yards.

Since the first unit was chewed up by Tennessee on a 10 play 79 yard drive, Seattle’s defense proceeds to be a football gambling concern. The Seahawks finished 25th in points permitted a year ago and are trying to shore up a thin linebacking corps.
