There may not be a more popular squad heading into the 2010 season than the Ravens and gamblers are prepared to make an NFL bet on Baltimore.

Since they are at home, the Baltimore Ravens will be favored in that competition. In Week 2 of the preseason the Baltimore Ravens are at Washington for their rivalry competition vs the Redskins. Baltimore hosts the Giants in week 3 of the preseason while they wrap up at St Louis on September 2nd.

Baltimore is 14-1 to earn the Super Bowl and those probabilities might come down even further before the regular season begins in September. The Ravens have an offense that is anticipated to be much better this season with the addition of wide receiver Anquan Boldin. In 2008, he became the fifth-fastest quarterback in NFL history to reach the 20,000-yard passing milestone, doing so in only 81 matches. Teams that have the biggest quarterback depth are the kinds to observe in the preseason. The addition of Bulger gives the Baltimore Ravens two reliable quarterbacks and then two respectable backups in Smith and Beck that will wish to impress since the Baltimore Ravens will only retain one of them.

The Ravens might pretty likely move Smith to a squad that needs a backup during training camp or preseason, which is a high likelihood. If the Baltimore Ravens do indeed have plans to move Smith to another squad, then Beck will easily be the 3rd stringer, behind Bulger, for the 2010 season.
